Mickelson, became No. 2 golf player with $9.3 million in winnings, and his endorsements with overwhelming $53 million and a total earnings of $62, 373,685. Mickelson has won four major championships and on the PGA Tour, a total of 41 events, and became world ranking of second in multiple years. Mickelson, although he is right handed, he swings left handed, thus, he is nicknamed “Lefty“. In November 2011, Mickelson was elected into the World Golf Hall of Fame, and was inducted in May 2012. Phil Mickelson revealed that his wife, Amy, was diagnosed with breast cancer, on May 20, 2009, following his  announcement, that he would indefinitely suspend his PGA Tour schedule.
